Krishnavataram Part 1: The Heart is the first film to reinterpret Lord Krishna's story, focusing on a perspective of love, devotion, duty and spirituality wonder. The narrative journey encompasses his captivating childhood in Gokul and Vrindavan, the eternal love and partnership with Radha, the impending responsibilities in Mathura, and the opulence in his rule in Dwarka. Rather than pigeonholed to a singular description, the film showcases Krishna in multiple dimensions at once. These include childlike joy, romantic, guiding, patronal, and cosmic. His essence is one that broadens the more one contemplates on him. Alongside romance and divinity, the narrative brings to the fore, the cauldron of political intrigue, divinely cursed lineage, and so much more, of the murky waters of mythology. Incorporating mythology and philosophy, music, and large-scale visual art, the film seeks to be emotionally and spiritually touching.
