Synopsis

Berlin is a genius, but his unerring confidence is equally frightening. He recruits a select group of master criminals - in this case, thieves - from various countries for another of his audacious attempts at grand theft. Every part of the operation needs to be precise, disciplined, and above all, trustworthy; however, the people on the inside are just as unpredictable as the elements outside the plan. Although Berlin uses his charm to unite the team, it can just as easily be rationalised that his emotional manifestations and sense of the dramatic can derail the caper any time. As the team starts to prepare for the unprecedented theft, the professional goals of the group are tainted; this opens the floodgates to jealousy, romantic alliances, and other weaknesses that will spell doom for the operation. The narrative takes the \\"mechanics of a robbery\\" and turns it all into a character-driven drama where style, seduction, and danger blend seamlessly with one another. The series features the most primitive elements of the human condition - going all the way back to the Greeks - set against the backdrop of Paris' elegance - money and meaning, excitement and risk, all merge into one in the people of Paris.
